Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — From 1 to 3 February, a business mission led by the working group of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade visited Afghanistan.

During the visit, the current state of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan was analyzed, and promising areas for further collaboration were identified.

The importance of joint efforts to increase the volume of mutual trade between the countries to US$3 billion was emphasized.

The possibilities of attracting investments in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, mining, and geology were discussed.

As part of the visit, a business forum and B2B negotiations were also held.
