Uzbekistan Airways to certify ISO 9001:2008 quality management system

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) national airline will carry out certification of quality management system on ISO 9001:2008 international standard, which was introduced in divisions of the company.

On 19 March 2010, the airline announced competition among certification bodies, accredited in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan, to carry out certification of quality management system on ISO 9001:2008 international standard.

The company said certification bodies, possessing experience in certification of transport enterprises to compliance with ISO 9001, can participate at the competition.
