Uzbekistan Airways office in Amritsar marks its 10th anniversary

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representative office of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) national holding company in Amritsar (India) marked its 10th anniversary.

The airline said it carried out over 5,200 flights on Tashkent-Amritsar-Tashkent direction and transported 600,000 passengers. In three months 2010, the airline transported 7,000 passengers, which is up by 4,000 year-on-year.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari organized solemn ceremony dedicated to this event, which was attended by over 200 people.

Among participants were Uzbek Ambassador to India Solih Inagamov, representatives of ministries and departments of India, Amritsar airport, large freight agencies and tour operators, as well as mass media.
