Uzbekistan Airports Showcases Projects in US

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airports presented its investment projects in the United States during the international forum Uzbekistan Investor Day, held on 13 April in Boston and 14 April in New York City.

The event aimed to showcase Uzbekistan’s investment potential and ongoing economic reforms, bringing together representatives of international financial institutions, investment firms, and strategic partners.

As part of the program, the Uzbekistan Airports delegation held meetings with major global financial organizations, including Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Artisan Partners, Xtellus Capital Partners, and Nomura Capital Partners.

Participants were presented with the company’s transformation results in recent years, key financial indicators, corporate governance practices, and plans for the development of airport infrastructure across the country.

Following the discussions, international investors expressed interest in Uzbekistan’s aviation sector and prospects for further cooperation. The parties explored potential partnership formats and priority areas of engagement.

A key outcome of the meetings was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with JPMorgan Chase. The document предусматривает collaboration in capital markets, including potential eurobond issuances and the use of other financial instruments to attract investment.
