Uzbekistan to Discuss Export Issues After Wildberries Attacks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbek government will hold a separate meeting to address issues faced by domestic exporters following attacks on Wildberries warehouse infrastructure in Russia.

The announcement was made during an open dialogue between the Government Commission and entrepreneurs from Khorezm Region.

During the meeting, a representative of the textile industry said damage to logistics facilities had disrupted product deliveries and reduced export volumes. According to the representative, the company, which employs about 300 people, had previously exported products worth US$3 million annually but is now also facing the risk of accounts receivable.

Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev said he had already discussed the situation with the management of the Wildberries marketplace.

According to him, a separate meeting with company representatives is scheduled for Friday, 7 August 2026. The participants plan to develop a systemic solution to address the problems that have arisen.

In addition, representatives of the Central Bank and the Cabinet of Ministers have been instructed to further examine the issue of potential accounts receivable.
