Uzbek woman to undergo surgery in South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Marina Kurmanbekova, 45 year old citizen of Uzbekistan, will undergo breast cancer surgery in South Korea in line with the memorandum of understanding between “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association and Chonnam National University.

Kurmanbekova, who was diagnosed with breast cancer of the second level in November 2011, will undergo operation at Hwasun Hospital of the Chonnam National University.

Besides, Uzbek surgeons- mammalogists, gynaecologists and other specialists will travel to South Korea on 20-24 February 2012 to learn experience of medical establishments of Seoul and Kwangju.

On 21-22 February, Marina Kurmanbekova will undergo all necessary examinations before operation at Hwasun Hospital. After operation, Kurmanbekova will be under observation of the Korean doctors till 2 March 2012.
