Uzbek President to attend CIS summit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will participate in upcoming session of the Council of the heads of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on 9-10 October 2014, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, it was reported that the CIS leaders will consider 17 draft documents directed at further developing inter-state cooperation in humanitarian spheres, security and other areas.

The CIS leaders will also consider some organizational issues.
