Uzbek President Mirziyoyev Arrives in Bishkek for SCO Summit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Bishkek to attend the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the SCO Plus meeting, the Uzbek presidential press service said.

Mirziyoyev was received at Manas International Airport by Adylbek Kasymaliyev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, along with other officials.

During his visit, Mirziyoyev will hold a number of bilateral meetings on 31 August.

The Uzbek president will also attend the opening ceremony of the sixth World Nomad Games.
