Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region on 31 August, the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring said.

The epicenter was located near the city of Gazli, with the focus at a depth of 10 km. The tremors occurred at 14:58:44.

The earthquake had an intensity of 3 points in Gazli, 18 km from the epicenter. Tremors measuring 2 points were recorded in Peshkun district, 35 km from the epicenter, and in Jondor district, 47 km from the epicenter.

The epicenter was located 504 km southwest of Tashkent.

The coordinates of the epicenter were 40.28 degrees north latitude and 63.37 degrees east longitude.
