Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan discuss bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov to discuss the current agenda of bilateral relations and the results of the latest round of political consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries. Saidov reported the meeting on social media.

During the meeting, the sides welcomed the results of the latest round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

Saidov said active, friendly and trusting dialogue between the two countries’ presidents is important for the dynamic development of strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The sides also held detailed discussions on current issues in bilateral relations.
