Uzbek President Islam Karimov to pay official visit to Turkmenistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan on 13-14 December 2009 on invitation of the President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, official statement of UzA said.

The statement said during the visit, the sides will discuss issues on broadening of the Uzbek-Turkmen cooperation, actual regional and international issues of mutual interest.

It is expected to sign bilateral documents directed at deepening interaction between two countries in various regions.
