Uzbek President congratulates Vladimir Putin with victory

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has sent a congratulatory letter to Vladimir Putin on his election as President of the Russian Federation.

The presidential elections in the Russian Federation were held on 4 March 2012. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin collected 63.6% of votes at the elections after 99.99% of ballots were processed.

It is worth to mention that the Russian President is elected for six years for the first time.
