Uzbek leader congratulates new King of Malaysia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has congratulated Al-Mutasimu Billahi Muhibbudin Tuanku Alhodj Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Badlishah Yang di-Pertuan Agong XIV on his election as King of Malaysia.

In his letter, Islam Karimov conveyed confidence that the activities of the King-elect will facilitate further consolidation of longer-term and multifaceted partnership bonds between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

The Uzbek head wished a sound health and long life to His Royal Highness, along with prosperity and consistent progress to the fraternal people of Malaysia.
