Uzbek-Korean scientific-medical seminar takes place in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An Uzbek-Korean scientific medical seminar was held in Tashkent. The event was organized by the Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan and Institute of Health Development of South Korea and attended by specialists of healthcare sector, doctors, experts and scientists of two countries.

At the event, Korean scientists and specialists highly rated effective medical reforms in Uzbekistan, in particular in such areas as cardiology, surgery, oncology, etc.

Participants considered issues of strengthening of cooperation among medical establishments of Uzbekistan and South Korea, exchanging experience in cardiology and oncology diseases treatment, etc.

Within the seminar, South Korean healthcare specialists visited medical establishments of Uzbekistan, specializing in such areas as cardiology, endocrinology, oncology and others to exchange experience.
