Uzbek judoist wins gold in South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Judoist from Uzbekistan Rishod Sobirov won a gold medal at IJF Masters Suwon in the category of 60 kg.

Sobirov defeated Japan’s Hiroaki Hiraoka and recorded victory with ippon.

On his way to final, the Uzbek athlete defeated Italy’s Elio Verdi, Japan’s Masaaki Fukuoka and Korea’s Gwang-hyeon Choi.
