Uzbek Foreign Ministry: Visa-free regime with China to take effect soon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed rumors circulating on social media suggesting that a visa-free regime with China would not be implemented.

According to MFA spokesperson Akhror Burkhanov, both countries have completed the necessary internal procedures.

He confirmed that the visa-free regime will come into force soon, allowing citizens of both Uzbekistan and China to stay in each other’s territory without a visa for up to 30 days.

It is worth noting that the agreement on visa exemption was signed in early December 2024 by the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and China.
