Uzbek envoy holds talks at Moscow Patriarchate’s DECR

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Ziyadulla Pulathojayev held a meeting with deputy chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR) archpriest Nikolai Balashov on 3 August 2011. The meeting took place at the DECR premises.

Cooperation between the church and the state and interreligious cooperation in Uzbekistan were discussed in a warm atmosphere of mutual understanding.

U. Jamalov, head of the Protocol Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation, also participated at the meeting.
