Uzbek envoy hands over credentials to Malaysian King

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Murad Askarov handed over credentials to King of Malaysia Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, Jahon news agency reported.

After the ceremony, the Malaysian King underlined rich historic-cultural heritage of people of Uzbekistan and added that there are great potential of further expanding cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian sphere.

At the end of the meeting, the Malaysian King underlined that Malaysia is for sustainable development of bilateral relations with Uzbekistan and wished success and prosperity to leadership and people of Uzbekistan.
