Uzbekistan FM Meets Egypt's PM in Cairo to Deepen Bilateral Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held high-level talks with Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Kamal Madbouly in Cairo, pressing for a qualitative upgrade in bilateral trade, industrial cooperation, and investment ties while affirming alignment on regional security.

Saidov conveyed personal greetings and best wishes from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, setting a tone of institutional warmth that both sides said reflects a mature political dialogue built on mutual trust.

At the core of the negotiations was a shared assessment that the existing level of trade and economic engagement falls short of the two countries' potential.
