Uzbekistan Discusses Healthcare Cooperation with India's Apollo Hospitals
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Sector Abdullah Azizov held a meeting with representatives of the Indian network Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited (AHEL).
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in medical institution management and the implementation of international standards within Uzbekistan's healthcare system.
During the negotiations, the sides considered issues regarding the modernization of the national healthcare system, the improvement of medical organization management, and the application of international experience to enhance operational efficiency.
Special attention was paid to organizing the activities of medical institutions operating under the Health Invest holding company.
The participants exchanged views on improving operational management, raising the quality and efficiency of medical services, and developing the managerial competencies of industry leaders and specialists.
According to the Agency, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited is one of India's largest private healthcare networks. Its infrastructure includes 73 hospitals with a total capacity of over 10,000 beds. The company also provides management services
