Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov has met with a delegation from China's China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC) to discuss investment projects and opportunities to expand cooperation in the region.
The Chinese delegation was led by Tian Zufeng, General Manager of the company's international division.
One of the main topics of the talks was the practical implementation of initiatives proposed during previous meetings. The parties also explored opportunities to develop new projects drawing on the Chinese company's expertise.
In particular, discussions focused on applying CTC's capabilities in product quality control, conformity assessment and certification in accordance with international standards.
Potential areas of cooperation include the production of construction materials and industrial goods, the food industry, agriculture, environmental protection and energy.
The parties also paid particular attention to training local specialists and creating new jobs through joint initiatives.
The meeting highlighted the conditions established in Ferghana Region for foreign investors, as well as the region's potential to attract investment.
Khayrullo Bozorov expressed his readiness to support the proposed initiatives and stressed the importance of developing them into concrete investment projects.
Following the talks, the parties agreed on further steps to advance cooperation.
