Uzbek envoy hands over credential to Dutch King

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Netherlands (with residence in Brussels) Vladimir Norov handed over credentials to King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander on 12 March 2014.

During the talks after ceremony of handing over of credentials, the sides considered current state and perspectives of bilateral relations of Uzbekistan and the Netherlands in political and trade-economic spheres, as well as in sphere of culture and humanitarian cooperation, Jahon news agency reported.

It was noted that there is potential for further deepening and expanding mutual beneficial cooperation and boosting political and economic contacts, as well as relations in culture, education and tourism.

King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander expressed his frank wishes of well-being and success to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and people of Uzbekistan.
