Uzbek-Chinese trade turnover up 18.8% y-o-y in Jan-Sep

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China reached US$1.454 billion in January-September 2009, or grew by 18.8% year-on-year, China’s General Administration of Customs said.

The administration said trade turnover between two countries reached US$99.108 million in September.

China’s import from Uzbekistan reached US$8.612 million in September 2009, and the import in January-September reached US$266.573 million, down 15% year on year.

Export of China to Uzbekistan comprised US$ 90.497 million in September 2009 and US$1.188 billion in January-September, up 30.5% on year.
