Uzbek, Chinese trade turnover hits US$4.5bn in 2013

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China made up US$4.5 billion in 2013, which rose by 32.3% year-on-year, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan Sun Lijie.

Sun Lijie recalled that trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China was US$3.4 billion in 2012.

He noted that over 500 companies with Chinese investments operate in Uzbekistan, while 70 Chinese companies opened their offices in Uzbekistan.
