Uzbek, Chinese leaders consider ties in Ashgabat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov met his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on Sunday and discussed issues of developing relations between two countries.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov arrived in Turkmenistan with official visit on invitation of Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, while Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao is paying working visit.

The leaders of two nations exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
