Uzbek banks’ aggregate capital reaches 1.5 trln soums

The equity capital of the bank doubled to 365.5 billion soums in the reporting period.

The banks of Uzbekistan issued about 500,000 plastic cards in 2007 and their total number made up 3.7 million as of 1 January 2008. Total transactions with plastic cards reached 594 billion soums.
