Uzbekistan and ACWA discuss expansion of investment projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Mohammad Abunayyan, Chairman of ACWA and co-chair of the Uzbekistan–Saudi Business Council, on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The talks focused on expanding cooperation with Saudi entrepreneurs and implementing priority investment projects.

The sides noted the successful development of partnerships between Uzbekistan and ACWA, as well as other Saudi investors. It was emphasized that a number of new agreements were reached during the forum aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Special attention was given to accelerating projects in green energy, healthcare, transport, infrastructure and tourism. Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to further expand practical cooperation.
