Uzbek Ambassador hands over credential to Italian President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Italy with residence in Paris (France) Ravshan Usmanov handed over credentials to the President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano, Jahon news agency reported.

During the meeting after the ceremony, Italian President positively rated current state and perspectives of further developing Uzbek-Italian relations in political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres. He noted that there are great potential to deepening and expanding mutual beneficial cooperation in various directions.

President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano expressed frank wishes of well-being and success to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and all Uzbek people.
