US delegation, Uzbek officials consider bilateral, regional issues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the United States led by Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kurt Amend held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 5 July 2011.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides exchanged opinion on the Uzbek-US relations and developments in the region.

The Uzbek Ministry added that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan George A. Krol participated at the talks.
