US delegation holds meeting at Uzbekistan’s MFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the US Department of State led by Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary and Senior Advisor for Security Negotiations and Agreements of Bureau of Political-Military Affairs Thomas Daughton held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 4 August 2011.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides discussed actual issues of the Uzbek-US relations in context of implementation of earlier achieved agreements.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan George A. Krol participated at the talks.
