Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The British company Fresh4u has reached an agreement to import cherries, melons, tomatoes, and cucumbers from Uzbekistan, according to the Agency for Plant Quarantine and Protection.

Experts from the Quarantine Agency visited Fresh4u, a major wholesale importer of fruits and vegetables, located at Western International Market, London’s largest wholesale market.

During the visit, they assessed the company’s operations, studied the UK market trends, and analyzed demand for fresh produce, as well as the quality requirements for imported goods.

Following discussions with the company’s director, a preliminary export agreement was reached for the supply of Uzbek cherries, melons, tomatoes, and cucumbers to the UK.
