Ucell subscribers make 11 million calls on New Year night

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ucell, the second largest mobile operator of Uzbekistan and subsidiary of Swedish-Finnish telecommunication operator TeliaSonera, said it processed over 4 million SMS-messages and 11 million calls from 23:00 of 31 December to 02:00 of 1 January.

The press-service of Ucell said that overall 16.5 million SMS-messages were sent from 31 December to 1 January.

At the same time, the operator underlined that its operators made over 105 million calls during this period.

The press-service of the company noted that it network endured load and worked smoothly.
