Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea Won Hee-ryong.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed the development of cooperation in the field of transport, where the positive dynamics of relations in the field of civil aviation was noted. The ministers of the two countries agreed to continue expanding the geography of flights between the two countries.
As part of his visit, Ilkhom Mahkamov visited the control center of express highways of the Korean Highway Corporation. Today, this center manages and controls the main roads (about 5,000 km) of Korea around the clock.
Following the visit to the center, the parties discussed the possibility of introducing a similar system in the capital of Uzbekistan in the field of public transport.
