Tashkent’s GRP increases by 8.5% Jan-Jun 2010

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent city posted 8.5% growth of gross regional product (GRP) in the first half of 2009.

In the reporting period, industrial output of the capital city increased by 13.6% and consumer goods -11.9%, UzA reported.

The volume of goods, produced within programme on localization of ready goods, spare parts and materials, rose 1.6 times.
