Tashkent-Nurafshon Highway Section to Close on 21 July

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Traffic for all types of vehicles will be completely restricted on a section of the D-002 highway connecting Tashkent and Nurafshon starting 21 July 2026. The restrictions are being introduced due to road construction works.

According to responsible authorities, the closure will affect the section from the 4th kilometer of the highway, starting from the New Bridge, to the 9th kilometer near the Avangard mahalla.

Drivers have been advised to plan their routes in advance, use alternative bypass roads, and comply with temporary traffic signs and instructions from road service personnel.

Motorists were also urged to be understanding of the temporary inconvenience and to observe traffic regulations.
