Uzbekistan Studies Russia’s Private Medicine, Pharma Experience
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan has studied the experience of Russia’s private healthcare sector and pharmaceutical industry, focusing on modern models of organizing medical care, the introduction of innovative technologies, and prospects for bilateral cooperation.
During the visit, the representatives of Uzbekistan familiarized themselves with the activities of the International Medical Cluster, where a model of a special legal regime was presented. This regime allows for the implementation of international medical technologies, care standards, and modern management practices.
Patient-oriented approaches were discussed during visits to the Lapino, Hadassah Medical Moscow, and Olympus Clinics MARS clinics. Meeting participants reviewed practical solutions aimed at improving the quality of medical care and refining business processes in the healthcare sector.
Particular attention was paid to the development of biotechnology. At the research and production company GENERIUM, the delegation was presented with the complete cycle of drug development and manufacturing.
The parties also discussed opportunities for technology transfer, localizing the production of in-demand medicines in Uzbekistan, and creating joint research and production facilities.
Additionally, during a visit to Sberbank, the participants studied the experience of implementing corporate social responsibility projects aimed at supporting healthcare and improving public health.
