Tashkent hosts concert of Uzbek and Kazakh artists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A joint concert of art masters of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan has been held at Turkiston Art Palace on 30 November 2012, UzA reported.

The event was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It was organized by Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs, Uzbeknavo, Republican International Cultural Center and Embassy of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Komil Rashidov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Boribay Jeksembin underlined that cooperation between two states are developing in all spheres, including in culture.

It was underlined that friendly relations between two nations, common language, religion and tradition play important role in development of mutual beneficial cooperation. The sides are developing relations in cultural-humanitarian sphere.

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan organized various art exhibitions, exhibition of craftsmen, concert of singers and theaters, etc.

At the current concert, Uzbek and Kazakh art and culture representatives performed modern and traditional melodies and dances of two nations.
