Summit of CIS leaders to be held in Minsk on 10 October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Summit of the heads of the states of the CIS member states will be held in Minsk, Belarus, on 10 October 2014, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev said at the second session of the CIS Security Council in Moscow on 26 September 2014.

He said that the CIS summit in Minsk will consider issues of international cooperation, including interaction of the CIS states, security, etc.

He said that the CIS leaders will discuss new threats, including radical Islamic militants, RIA Novosti reported.
