Spouse of Japanese Prime Minister arrives in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 3 August 2016, Akie Abe, the spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, arrived in Uzbekistan.

She is accompanied by the delegation of cultural and art workers of Japan.

Spouse of President of Uzbekistan Tatyana Karimova welcomed the guests at Tashkent International Airport.

Within the visit, the Japanese delegation will visit the burial place of the Japanese internees, the Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan.

The delegation will also participate in a concert of creative collective Drum Tao of Japan, which will be held at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi.
