Silkworm breeders of Uzbekistan prepare 23,500 tons of cocoons

The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources told UzA that in the current season silkworm breeders of the country grew 445,687 boxes of grain, each giving an average of 53 kilograms of cocoons.

This spring, mulberry groves were expanded by 2,600 hectares, and their total area increased to 56,000 hectares.
