Shakhobiddin Zoirov and Fanat Kahramonov successfully defeat their opponents

A little earlier, members of the Uzbekistan national team Shahobiddin Zoirov (-52 kg) and Fanat Kakhramonov (-75 kg) carried out their bouts.

Shahobiddin Zoirov managed to defeat Rodrigo Marten from the Dominican Republic, and Fanat Kakhramonov left no chance for his rival Adrian Kammaron (Austria).

In the 1/8 final, Zoirov will face Azat Usenaliev from Kyrgyzstan on 17 September, and Kakhramonov will battle against Hebert de Souza on 16 September.
