Shahram Giyasov is recognized as the best boxer in Asia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Boxer from Uzbekistan Shahram Giyasov is recognized as the best in Asia by the results of the annual survey of the Asian Boxing Confederation.

Shahram Giyasov collected 57.2% of the vote in the results of the poll. Giyasov became the champion of Asia and the world in 2017.

Another boxer from Uzbekistan Hasanboy Dusmatov (32.8%) was on the second place.

Also according to the results of the survey, the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan was recognized as the best in content, collecting 91% of the vote. The Boxing Federation of Thailand and the Alliance of the Boxing Association of the Philippines received 3.6% of the vote each.

In the nomination “Discovery of the Year”, Uzbek boxer Ikboljon Kholdorov took second place (32.7%), and Sanjar Tursunov - third (20.1%).
