Uzbekistan Defender Jahongir Urozov Joins Rubin Kazan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan national team defender Jahongir Urozov has joined Rubin Kazan on loan, the Russian football club announced.

The loan agreement between Rubin and Dinamo Samarkand runs through the end of 2026. The 22-year-old player will wear number 13 at his new club.

Prior to moving to the Russian club, Urozov played for Dinamo Samarkand, and also represented Uzbekistan's Bunyodkor and Turkish club Eyupspor.

The defender has made six appearances and scored one goal for the Uzbekistan national team, including playing in two matches at the recent World Cup.
