SCO to expand cooperation with observer states

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will expand cooperation with the observer states and dialogue partners, the information communiqué said.

The document said that the member states will further expand cooperation with the SCO observer states – India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan – and dialogue partners – Belarus and Sri Lanka, potentials of which can gave significant impulse to further development of the SCO activities.

The SCO member states underlined positive trends of development of contacts of the SCO with the CIS, CSTO, EurAsEC, ASEAN, ECO and ESCATO. The SCO said that the organization will develop international cooperation.
