Uzbekistan Returns Six Citizens From Bulgaria Safely

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Six citizens of Uzbekistan who were in difficult financial and social conditions in Bulgaria have been returned to their home country with assistance from the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul and the Migration Agency.

According to competent authorities, necessary consular, legal and practical measures were taken to organize their return.

The citizens were repatriated free of charge to Uzbekistan on 16 June and have been reunited with their families.

The diplomatic mission and the Migration Agency emphasized the importance of observing precautionary measures when traveling abroad for employment purposes.

In particular, citizens are advised to verify information about employers and intermediary organizations in advance and carefully review the terms of employment contracts.

It is also noted that overseas employment should be arranged only through official and verified channels, and all documents must be prepared in accordance with current legislation.
