Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 21 December 2024, the third "Science and Innovation Awards" ceremony took place at the "Turkestan" Palace of Arts. The event was organized by the international scientific journal "Science and Innovation Awards."
The ceremony celebrated the achievements of Uzbek scientists and organizations in six categories: "Scientist of the Year," "Best Young Scientist of the Year," "Best Higher Education Institution of the Year," "Best Non-State Higher Education Institution of the Year," "Best Research Institute of the Year," and "Most Innovative University of the Year."
Over 1,500 applications from scientists and about 200 from organizations were submitted for the competition.
Winners in the "Scientist of the Year" and "Best Young Scientist of the Year" categories received monetary awards.
The event featured the presentation of new encyclopedias dedicated to Uzbek scientists, an exhibition, and a cultural music program.
