Sadyk Safaev and Lord Sheikh hold talks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairperson of the Committee of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on foreign political issues Sadyk Safaev held a meeting with the member of the House of Lords of British Parliament Mohamed Iltaf Sheikh.

Mohamed Iltaf Sheikh arrived in Uzbekistan to observe presidential elections in the country.

According to UzA, the sides discussed issues of developing of cooperation between parliaments of Uzbekistan and Great Britain.

The sides noted that the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov contributed to development of political, trade and cultural relations between Uzbekistan and Great Britain.
