Uzbekistan, South Korea Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Tashkent between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Chung Eui-hae.

The sides discussed prospects for further development of bilateral relations.

According to Saidov, the two countries noted significant potential for strengthening their special strategic partnership, particularly in trade, economic, and investment areas.

During the talks, both sides confirmed readiness to continue active dialogue between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and South Korea in preparation for upcoming high- and highest-level events.

The sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation, focusing on practical areas of interaction and strengthening political dialogue between Tashkent and Seoul.
