Tashkent to Face Overnight Power Cuts in Two Districts
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended in parts of Tashkent’s Almazar and Shaykhantakhur districts from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. on 10 August. The TOSHKENT SHAHAR MAGISTRAL ELEKTR TARMOQLARI branch said.
The temporary outage is related to modernization and reconstruction work at the 110/10/6 kV Exhibition substation.
In Almazar district, the restrictions will affect the following mahallas:
- MSG Kuyosh;
- MSG Allon;
- MSG Chustiy;
- MSG Orzu;
- MSG Ziyo;
- MSG Universitet;
- MSG Chimboy;
- MSG Zamondosh.
In Shaykhantakhur district, temporary disruptions are expected in the following areas:
- MSG Bog kucha;
- MSG Yangi shahar;
- MSG Ilgor;
- MSG Zafarobod;
- MSG Buston.
Short-term interruptions in electricity supply may occur during the specified period.
The work is aimed at ensuring the safe operation of electrical equipment and achieving a more even distribution of the electricity load.
