Uzbekistan & Albania First Ladies Meet in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The First Ladies of Uzbekistan and Albania convened at the Kuksaroy presidential residence in Tashkent for high-level talks on strengthening bilateral humanitarian ties, as the Albanian head of state conducted an official state visit to the Central Asian republic.

Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Armanda Begaj held what both sides described as an open and candid exchange, centering on deepening people-to-people friendship and expanding cultural cooperation between their two nations — countries separated by thousands of miles but increasingly aligned in diplomatic engagement.

Begaj responded warmly, expressing what her hosts described as genuine interest in the traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, and acknowledging their historical depth, aesthetic richness, and singular character.
